Introduction

Veligonda Srinivas is a prominent name in contemporary Telugu cinema — a storyteller, screenwriter, and filmmaker known for blending action and humor with heart.
From scripting superhits to directing commercial entertainers, Srinivas brings two decades of cinematic excellence to Sparkhoot.

The Backstory

Born on March 11, 1976, in Miryalaguda, Telangana, Srinivas's film journey began in 1999 after completing his graduation.

A close friend introduced him to celebrated actor Sri Hari, opening the first door to the film industry.
Starting humbly as a dialogue writer, Srinivas quickly made his mark by writing punchy, memorable lines for hits like Deva and Police — the latter earning him his first award for Best Dialogue Writer.

The Challenges & Turning Points

From Setbacks to Success: How Persistence and Passion Shaped a Cinematic Trailblazer

Srinivas didn’t stop at writing dialogues. Driven by a deep love for storytelling, he transitioned into story writing, a leap that demanded persistence and reinvention.
He collaborated with major directors like Srinivas Reddy (Chandana Brothers, Bommana Brothers) and E.V.V. Satyanarayana (Kithakithalu, Bendu Apparao R.M.P), steadily building his reputation.

His big breakthrough came with the supernatural thriller Damarukam starring Nagarjuna — a box-office success that validated his storytelling on a grand scale.
He later worked with Mallineni Gopi on major hits like Don Seenu, Balupu, Pandagachesko, Bodyguard, and Winner, and even contributed to A.R. Murugadoss’s Tamil blockbusters Thupaki and Kaththi.

The path from writer to filmmaker wasn’t paved with applause. Srinivas faced rejections, rewrites, and moments of doubt — but never backed down.

The Mission & Why It Matters

With Sparkhoot, Srinivas channels his film experience into visual storytelling for brands, couples, and creators.
His deep understanding of narrative structure, emotion, and audience psychology now helps brands craft impactful campaigns — with cinematic flair. His mission is simple:To make stories feel, not just look. Whether it’s a PR campaign, a wedding shoot, or a brand film, every frame should echo with emotion and purpose.

Now & Next

In 2017, Srinivas took the director’s seat with Andhagadu, followed by Sakala Gunabhirama (2022) and Ramnagar Bunny (2024).

Today, he continues balancing filmmaking and creative brand storytelling under Sparkhoot, offering clients a rare blend of cinematic expertise and brand strategy.

Emotion First

Every story must touch the heart before the head.

Purpose-Driven

Stories must serve a message, not just visuals.

"In His Own Words"

“I’ve always believed that stories aren’t just written — they’re felt. Whether it’s a film or a brand campaign, the heartbeat is the same: emotion. At Sparkhoot, we bring that emotion to life with creativity and purpose. Every frame we craft is an opportunity to connect, and every project is driven by the desire to make people feel something real. We don’t just create content — we shape experiences that resonate. When storytelling meets soul, that’s when true magic happens. That’s what Sparkhoot stands for.”  — Veligonda Srinivas
